Expert Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android developer with experience in developing DPC applications.We need a passionate and talented Android developer to work alongside an existing team developing a ground breaking application for one of our major clients.

You’ll require deep knowledge and experience of Android, particularly in the areas of service resiliency and lifecycle management. You should have demonstrable experience in writing advanced Android applications and possess a deep insight into the Android ecosystem.

For at least the next 3 months we’d need you on board full-time but we’re flexible though we need our time zone (UTC) to overlap with yours.

You:

Experienced in:

• Device provisioning through DPC identifier
• Device locking into Kiosk mode
• Applying policies and restrictions
• Controlling the device state

Deep understanding of application/activity/fragment lifecycles

• Alarm manager
• Job scheduler

Deep understanding of Android background processing techniques

• Background services
• Foreground services
• Service resiliency and lifecycle
• Possess working experience about general application resiliency, handling crashes, techniques to resurrect the application after being killed/crashed
• General deep insight into Android ecosystem.

Xamarin development experience is a plus
